Bárbara Mori , a major South American star is just one of the outstanding performers in Mistura which takes us to high society Peru in 1965.
The other is Cesar (Pudy) Ballumbrosio as her chauffeur and servant. In real life he is a virtuoso Peruvian percussionist, son of Amador Ballumbrosio, an icon of Afro-Peruvian musical culture and he plays some pretty outstanding percussion in this film too.
He is the earth to Mori's Norma who is rarefied air in Peruvian society. Norma is French-Peruvian, born in Paris, proud of her heritage and safe in her status until her husband leaves her for a younger woman.
